John Chetwynd


John brings a broad range of management skills and expertise to Call Centre People Recruitment’s operations.   He has over 30 years of experience in financial and service industries.

John founded Telnet in 1995 with the assistance of two American partners and he has successfully led and grown Telnet into becoming one of New Zealand’s largest contact centres.  Prior to establishing Telnet, John held a number of chief executive positions including as Chief Executive of Moller Johnson Finance and later as Managing Director of Creditcorp Services Limited.

CallCentre People recruitment was initially set up in 1999 to provide a specialist recruitment solution for the call centre industry.  John has applied the same successful leadership in growing CallCentre People into a well respected recruitment company, which now provides recruitment solutions to many industries for both national and multi-national clients.

In his spare time John likes to travel and spend time with his family.
