Training and Development Manager

Chantelle has been working in the Public Service sector for the past 12 years under the Ministry of Social Development (MSD). Her career within the ministry started as a Case Manager where she developed a passion for helping her clients into work. After a couple of years, she started working her way through the Auckland Employment arm of the department in many employment brokerage related roles, placing over a 1000 people into employment during her tenure.  During her last five years at the ministry Chantelle managed big brand employers as a Regional Account Manager, co-set up the Job Connect Contact Centre – responsible for matching candidates to roles for employers for 11 regions of the country, and managed the South and Central Auckland Work Broker teams. Chantelle was heavily involved in creating, developing and managing many employment initiatives and projects implemented both in Auckland and for the county with the goal to help people into employment. In June 2017 Chantelle resigned from MSD as a Work Services Manager for the Auckland Region looking for her next challenge.

 

Chantelle is genuine in her passion for helping people and loves to see people succeed in achieving their goals. She brings with her vast experience and knowledge in government processes – legislation and implementation, operations and people management on a wide scale.

 

In her spare time, Chantelle enjoys reading Manga, socialising and discussing pop-culture with friends and spending time with her family.
